Productivity App Review: Edison Calendar
This app aims to help users break their goals into bite-size chunks
I have an obsession with productivity apps. I will admit that it is often a form of procrastination, my love of tootling around in planning software, but we all need some way to unwind, right? Today I want to do a review for a productivity app I’ve been enjoying recently: the Edison Calendar app.
For those who are curious: this is not sponsored, I am not affiliated with the company behind the Edison app, and I’ll be including positive feedback and criticisms in equal measure.
Once it’s installed, the app is simply titled “Edison” with a minimalist light bulb icon, and its listing in the Google Play store is enticing: you can achieve any goal. I stumbled upon the Android mobile app while perusing the Play store late at night, but it is also available on web or iOS.
I will mention that this app is free with an optional “Pro” version on a subscription model. I know this can be done poorly sometimes, making apps feel artificially stunted, but I have found that the free version for this app is perfectly adequate. The Pro version only becomes necessary if you have a high number of detailed goals (I have not yet reached the goal limit), or if you need to do rescheduling across multiple levels of the hierarchy that I’ll explain in the next…
