Society6 Review: Which Print on Demand Service Is Best?
A little while ago, I decided to explore options for setting up a print-on-demand sticker shop. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while, so I made some designs and ordered samples from four different print-on-demand services: RedBubble, Society6, Printful, and Zazzle.
This is the second review in the set of four, and we’ll be talking about Society6. If you want more context on what my goals are for this shop, you can read the first in the installment here, but the short version is that I would like to make stickers for decorating planners and journals. Lightweight, with thin kiss-cut outlines, and preferably on a sheet together with other themed stickers.
Print Quality
For the Society6 stickers, I was able to scale them down pretty good and get some nice small stickers, but the cut lines were unpredictable and poorly documented, so I got some big blobs of stickers where the preview showed them as being separate with plenty of space between.
I actually emailed support about this and at first they responded that this was a risk because they use multiple sticker vendors and not all of them can guarantee that the stickers will match the preview.
